Anna’s Story: Chapter 4

Chapter 4

One day as Anna was playing outside, a friend came running to tell her the news that her brother had arrived. At first Anna thought her friend was talking about her oldest brother, but the girl was talking about Enzo, her other brother. Anna couldn’t believe it. She thought her friend was playing a joke on her, but eventually she went with the girl to find her brother. The reunion was an incredible moment for Anna. She clung to his neck, kissed him, and wouldn’t let go until Enzo began to tell her about the many adventures and dangers he encountered when he tried to join the Allied Forces.

Enzo then explained to Anna that he wanted to be very careful about returning to the family. He didn’t want to cause their mother to have a heart attack! He asked Anna if she could think of a way to prepare their mother for the wonderful, but shocking, news.

Testimony: “Too Beautiful For Words”

“What would you say if he was right here?”
